Smile. Rock Lee x Reader

   Rock Lee felt utterly baffled with (Name)'s reaction to his charms. Normally, pretty girls like her would either ignore him or push him away or possibly punch him to the moon because of the unwanted attention they do not need from him--he has the reminders, too. However, with her, it was the total opposite.

   Today, for example, after her training, Lee walked up to her and gave her flowers and a refreshing drink. Usually, when he does this to other girls, they would throw the things at him, but she gladly took it from him with a smile, "Thanks, Lee." 

   If Lee's heartrate was already high from all the training he did, then her grin just increased it a hundred-fold. 

   "U-uh, no problem, (Name)." 

   Do the ears of Tenten and Neji deceive them? Did Rock Lee, the ever so confident, self-proclaimed-every-girl's-dream-boy, actually stutter and was in fact being shy in front of a girl? Oh, boy, tonight at Ichiraku's will be a hectic one. Hopefully, (Name) is back with her duties with the her uncle or else it will be awkward for Lee if his other teammates interrogated him.

   How he met (Name) was through his mentor, her uncle, Gai. Even though there was no way in heaven or earth that proved them to be physically resembling each other as relatives, the team took her in with open arms--well, Rock Lee did, but she was fine with it.

   She always took his gifts with a smile, but sometimes he would wonder if she threw them away. Maybe he should ask Gai-sensei if she did...

   "No, no, no. That wouldn't be right! Doubting about her kind, beautiful, and warm smile is not the right thing to do!"

   "Doubting my what now?"

   Lee slowly turned around to be met with that kind, beautiful, and warm smile he loved so much. He heard his other teammates tried to hide their laughter at his folly. 

   "Oh, (Name)!" Tenten greeted as her laugh ended, "That's a cute flower crown, where did you get it?"

   The girl sat next to Lee and answered, "I made it with the flowers that Lee gave me!" 

   She placed her hand on top of his as she talked to Tenten. The poor boy was trying his best to contain his happiness. When (Name) turned to talk to Lee, her smile grew due to Lee's grinning from ear to ear, like he was drunk. 

   (Name) wouldn't throw the flowers Lee gave her because it was a requited love.
